Ms. Latha Srinivasan

“I am Latha Srinivasan, HOD, Special Education, with 26 years of experience in the field of Special Education. I have MA (Psy) M.ED and Special Education from a National Institute in Hyderabad. I have also worked in USA Public schools for 7 years.

My teaching career has been geared towards empowerment of diverse groups of students with special needs (Students with ASD, ADHD, Intellectual Challenges, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Learning Difficulties and Multiple Challenges) I have a strong passion to educate and train students with special needs and assist them blossom into well rounded, responsible, successful and independent individuals. My years of experience have taught me the value of patience and encouragement in the classroom.

“My Motto is “Any child can learn if we know how to teach” and I strongly believe that every child has the potential to learn but learn in a different way.

It is a blessing, an honour and priviledge to be a part of PWS as it embraces diversity and is a complete inclusive school. I believe inclusion is nothing but a mind set and we have that in abundance in each and every person of the PIONEER Family – Starting from Director, Principal, Coordinators, Educators, students and aides. Educators are very supportive in accommodating students with additional support in the classroom with differentiated instruction and working very closely with the Multi Disciplinary TEAM aides the students to maximise their potential.”
