Pioneer offers Cambridge Assessment International Education from Prep to Stage VIII for the academic year 2018-19. The curriculum at Pioneer is structured to balance scholastic achievement with social, emotional and personal development. The curriculum is based on the Cambridge Curriculum. The Pre-Primary learning approaches are designed in alignment with the EYFS (Early Year Childhood Program). We are in the process of adopting Common Ground Collaborative(CGC), which is a global network of educators who share common principles to develop a curriculum.
IGCSE is a balanced curriculum and a flexible course to study. The course offers a wider range of subjects and encourages high academic standards through a practical approach to learning. The International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) is a globally recognised qualification taken at the class 10 level, similar to class 10 examinations of the CBSE and ICSE. A student who has passed IGCSE is eligible for any +2 level qualification like class 12 in CBSE or ICSE or any international pre-university programme.
CGC: CGC stands for Common Ground Collaborative. CGC is a non-profit, global community of innovators, educators and partners who share a common goal. They co-create a compelling alternative to traditional curriculum designs: a coherent learning ecosystem that connects learning, leading, teaching and assessing into one simple, systemic approach. EYFS: The EYFS – Early Years Foundation Stage is the curriculum framework of United Kingdom. It sets out and defines the following- The 7 areas of learning and development which guide professionals engagement with your child’s play and activities as they learn new skills and knowledge The EYFS Framework explains how and what your child will learn to support their healthy development. Your child will learn skills, acquire new knowledge and demonstrate their understanding through 7 areas of learning and development. The curriculum is designed to encourage learning outcomes that focus on nurturing children to develop holistically, morally, aesthetically and globally including knowledge acquisition and academic skills. Based on the EYFS curriculum these learning outcomes are divided into the following and in-depth assessments are done at each age-stage on every area of learning.

  • Knowledge and understanding of the world

Pioneer’s biggest asset being its teaching staff, we have our educators from across the country and from different nationalities with ample experience in international education. Every educator holds advanced degrees with rich teaching experiences of 5-10 years in their subject disciplines. The school also conducts regular in-house professional development sessions for the educators which are hosted by international and domestic experts. Above all our educators are passionate towards their profession and love working with children.
Speaking in terms of infrastructure, the existing campus comprises of spacious, well furnished and specially designed learning centres from prep to grade VIII, labs, music and art studios, infirmary and a play area.
The new campus would be coming up just adjacent to DSR Fortune Prime gated community, Madhapur. The campus is expected to be operational by the academic year 2020-2021.
The school’s academic program consists of language arts, Math, Global Perspectives, Science, world languages like Hindi, French and Spanish, Physical education, Visual & Performing arts and ICT.
Pioneer works towards bringing out the best in every child and also believes in holistic development of a child. This includes not only the intellectual aspects but also development of the moral, emotional, social and physical arenas. To achieve this Pioneer offers a mix of co-curricular activities that are age appropriate, challenging and engaging. These activities be they performing arts, crafts or sports are open to all our students and a part of their curriculum.

The school has a communication platform called ‘BLOOMZ’ which is a two-way communication platform. So all academic updates, daily learning updates, important announcements, learner’s activity pictures and other school updates would be posted here on a daily basis.
Yes, the school provides facility for both transport and food services. Both services are optional. Pioneer has a fleet of buses that ensure safe, on-time and tension-free commuting of children to school and back. We offer GPS enabled buses that cover a number of locations such as Jubilee Hills, Banjara Hills, Kondapur, Gachibowli, Madhapur, Ayyappa Society, KPHB and more.
The school offers a range of activities specifically designed for our learners through out the year. These offerings vary each semester. For the academic year 2018-19 we offered activities like cricket, soccer, skating, wushu(martial arts), karate, zumba, no fire cooking, art, music etc.
The school has designed a range of innovative, immersive and interesting activities for our learners to explore their creativity through the STEAM approach.To name some of them:
  1. The children get exposure to instruments like Keyboard, Violin and guitar based on the learner’s interest.
  2. The learners use lego tool kits to learn about gears, pulleys, levers, motors, and sensors among other things. Flow control programming is taught in the classes using softwares like WeDo2.0 and Mindstrome EV3.
  3. Robotics empower our students in learning fundamentals in engineering, programming concepts and logically applied mathematics. These classes provide ample hands-on exposure to students.
  4. Learners get exposed to variety of sports like basketball, volleyball, soccer, skating and specially designed fitness activities.
Pioneer school is from mother toddler till grade VIII for the academic year 2018-19. However we keep upgrading to higher classes on yearly basis.
Yes, they are very much eligible for it. IGCSE is recognised by the Association of Indian Universities(AIU) as being at par with CBSE, ICSE etc. Not just in India, the IGCSE curriculum has world wide status and credibility.
